Site description: North of Route 78 in a rural area east of Escondido.
Charger description: Two pedestal chargers in the RV/handicapped section. Drive straight in from the entrance, past the regular parking areas to your left and the main entrance to your right, through the school bus loading zone and to the very rear of the parking area. The chargers are immediately to the right of the Human Resources trailer.
What to do while waiting: Visit the park!
Hours: Chargers are inside gated parking area that is closed at night. Winter hours: 9am-4pm daily; summer hours: 9am-8pm daily.
Parking fee: $3.
ICEing: Never encountered. These spots are well separated from the main parking areas, which helps.
Notes: Power to the chargers is controlled by two circuit breakers in a panel box behind the left-hand charger. The box faces away from the parking lot. These breakers have been turned off on occasion, so check them if the chargers aren't working.
